Last year during my 1st semester of my second year at UIC I bought my Laptop to simply satisfy me need for speed and to avoid restart using my old computer at our laboratory. I was able to run a Linux Operating System called Sabayon which was very nice works very fast with my Netbeans (Java Programming Compiler).

Here are the specification of my customized blue laptop

CPU: Intel Core2Duo T7200 @ 2.0GHz
RAM: Corsair 2GB DDR2-667MHz
GPU: ATI X1300
HD: 120GB SATA

I`m not quite sure of my hard drive if its an ordinary SATA or the new SATA2 model. And I also don`t know the manufacturer. Well thats most of the stuff you need to know about my laptop. Since all I needed was the speed and stability when I`m coding. But now my laptop is kinda useless since I don`t run heavy applications anymore. But its time will soon comeback when I need to use heave applications again.

CON: My con for my laptop is that it runs very hot. You need a fan or a cooler so that it wont run that hot like I`m using it now. Second is that my palm always hit the touch pad and changes the direction of the mouse making me type the wrong information. Besides that all is good.
