The British Advertising Standards Authority ruled that a new Apple iPhone TV advertisement misled consumers, and hence should never be aired again.

The advert claims that iPhone gives you access to “all the parts of the internet are on the iPhone”, but the ASA ruled that the iPhone’s lack of Java and Flash support means that this claim is misleading.

Apple had argued its claim referred to availability of webpages, rather than their specific appearance.

The advert “gave a misleading impression of the internet capabilities of the iPhone”, said Olivia Campbell, a spokesperson for the ASA. “Because the iPhone doesn’t support Flash or Java, you couldn’t really see the internet in its full glory.”

“They made a very general claim that you can see the internet in its entirety, and actually that’s not quite true - so we’ve upheld.”

Well my mom bought my 16GB iPod Touch suddenly at Green Hills in Manila. It was the cheapest iPod Touch around and yet it was the first shop we went in and right on the spot bought the iPod Touch which cost nearly P18,000. Was it worth the money? You bet it is!

This were the features of the iPod Touch i found amazing.

First of course the touch screen feature. Its very easy to just use your fingers to move the iPod Touch instead of clicking on buttons. And if you use clothing to try and touch the screen the iPod Touch doesn`t do anything.

Second is the WiFi capability of the iPod Touch. Since I have my own hotspot here at our house I was able to test out the WiFi feature instantly. And it was really amazing to surf the web using that tiny gadget. You can even browse multiple pages with this gadget and even log in to websites such as forums or check on e-mails.

Third is the photo album which was discovered by Toni. You can scan through the album like you do with the real album. You can just swipe your finger on the screen and instantly changes the page or pages of the iPod Touch.

Fourth is the audio quality it has. I wasn`t able to explore this feature much since I was so amaze of the other features it has and I can appreciate music quality that much. But Toni said it has great quality compared to my old iPod Video.

Fifth is that you can`t put files into it like a regular flash drive or same with my old iPod Video. Or maybe you can do this but you still need other software to do so. But as default you can`t. You can just transfer music,video and photos via iTunes.

Well this is my cellphone for more than a year now. And it has served me well. I got this phone as a prize for having high grade at UIC. Although I didn`t get the phone instantly a help from Toni got me the phone. She gave me a news paper cut out of this phone and my sister found it and told my mom about it and on the next Sunday I finally got this phone. This phone cost around P27,000 back then. But after a few weeks when I bought this phone the new N91 8GB came out. Well thats life.

So the reason I wanted this phone was simply because of the 4GB space it offers. Because I was thinking of a mp3 player plus a flash drive phone. But anyways I didn`t use it as a mp3 player because I have a 1 GB flash drive and I also have my old iPod Video.

Well this phone do have a very good quality. What can you expect its a mp3 phone. The cameras not that great but its really useful for stolen shots! The camera is 2MP (megapixel) and can do a 1600×1200 resolution for images and 352×288 for video. I recorded plenty of videos from my phone and captured hundreds of images. I didn`t explore my phone that much since I just use it for texting and calling.

I got some major problems with this phone when I bought it. It freezes a lot and I do mean a lot! But after the firmware update all seems to run perfectly. Except for the loading time when you try to open the images. Very bad loading time especially if you have tons of images/videos.
